We are currently seeking the right candidate to join our team as a Building Services Maintenance Technician.\n\nMonday - Friday\n\n10:30am - 7pm\n\n\nAs a Building Services Technician, you will assist the building services team in maintaining the community and the grounds, by providing repairs, renovation work, and routine maintenance as requested. This is not your standard maintenance position – at Touchmark, you have the daily opportunity to build long-term relationships with the wonderful people who call this community “home!”\n\nResponsibilities include\n • Assist in maintaining the buildings on our 13 acre campus.\n • Be knowledgeable about and promote environmental safety for yourself and others.\n • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when assisting with residents, family members, team members and visitors.\n • Perform repairs, parts runs, and preventative maintenance.\nThe ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will have:\n • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.\n • Education related to building maintenance or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in building maintenance strongly preferred.\n • Have at least one (1) years’ experience in a similar environment with strong knowledge of maintenance processes.\n • Excellent communication skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\n • Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, moving equipment and furniture, and able to lift up to 75 pounds.\n • Be able to read, write and speak English.\n • Willing to learn CPR/First Aid certification.\n • Be able to complete and follow Touchmark Vehicle Safety Program.\n • Be able to work both inside and outside year- round.\n\n\nBenefits:\nTouchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
