Job Title: Electric Motor / Pump Mechanic
Location: Denver, CO
Pay: $30-38/hour DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electric Pump Mechanic with a strong background in mechanical systems, particularly in disassembly and reassembly of complex machinery. As an Electric Pump Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electric pump systems used in industrial applications. You will perform precise work on intricate mechanical components, ensuring each pump is functioning optimally and efficiently. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities: - Disassemble and reassemble electric pumps and associated mechanical components.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot pump issues using hand tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
- Use a lathe and other precision tools to manufacture or repair parts as needed.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on various pump types including centrifugal, positive displacement, and submersible pumps.
- Follow technical drawings, manuals, and schematics to ensure proper assembly and operation.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports for all work completed.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to solve technical problems.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly/disassembly of complex machinery.
- Hands-on experience as a gunsmith or with machine lathe operations is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and familiarity with electric pumps.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong safety mindset and familiarity with industrial safety procedures.
- Must be able to pass a Drug/Background check.
