CarShield is seeking a Level 1 IT Technician to join its growing Tech Support team. This position will be responsible for general assistance with a side range of IT issues, including computers, thin clients, phones, active directory, etc. Successful candidates will possess a good foundation of general computer knowledge, some experience with troubleshooting, and good people and communication skills.

Reporting to the IT Tech Support Manager, this position is responsible for:

• Assisting with maintenance and service of IT equipment
• Troubleshooting computers, phones, headsets and other peripherals
• Acts as a liaison between the IT department and other departments throughout the organization
• Other general tasks as assigned

Requirements

Requirements for Level 1 IT Technician:

• 2-3 years experience in a Help Desk environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Workspace, incident management and collaboration tools
• Experienced in computer hardware, installation, maintenance and repair
• Experienced in computer troubleshooting
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all employees, regardless of level
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and to manage time effectively

This position will require someone that is willing and able to do a wide variety of tasks, both physical and computer-based. Ideal candidates will be reliable, responsible, flexible, and a solid team player.
