part-time position at the

Located minutes off the I-40 corridor, Burke County, NC is about 1 hour northwest of Charlotte, 1 hour south of Boone, and 1 hour east of Asheville. Don't miss your opportunity to make a big difference in a small town.
Opportunity Highlights: - Experienced Providers only, we are not able to consider new graduates for this position
- ACOG boarded
- 16 hours/week, Monday and Thursday
- Compensation is straight hourly rate
- Covered under Health Department liability insurance, no additional benefits
The mission of the Burke County Health Department is to promote and protect the health and environment of the citizens of Burke County. Our vision is to be viewed by our citizens as the primary resource for individual, community and environmental health needs. The Burke County Health Department offers a Maternity Clinic to assure the availability of adequate prenatal care to Burke County residents who are financially unable to obtain care in the private sector. Our Maternity Clinic is staffed with friendly, experienced nurses along with an OB/GYN. Screenings are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Patients are seen regularly on Mondays and Thursdays. Deliveries are at UNC Health Blue Ridge Morganton Campus.
