Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Napa, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiogram procedures for inpatient and outpatient services
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 16 echo studies
• Conduct stress echo and transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) procedures
• Provide echo services for adult and geriatric patients
• Work with patients diagnosed with CHF, A Fib, CVA, SOB, and MI
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Take call every 3rd weekend and 2 nights during the week until 2200
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Maintain current BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS-Adult, and valid CA state license
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Complete 16 hours of orientation
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Perform portable echo studies and various echo techniques including 3-D Echo, M-Mode, bubble studies, and stress testing
• Work in various hospital units including ER, ICU, and Cath Lab as needed
